Store Audit
Find every gap holding your store back.
An honest, deep-dive audit of your existing ecommerce store. Performance, SEO, security, conversion, mobile, accessibility — 12 dimensions checked manually by someone who's run 500+ stores.
Pick your audit tier
Three audits. Pick the depth you need.
All tiers cover the same store. Higher tiers go deeper, add a roadmap, and include strategy time.

What's audited
12 dimensions. Every gap mapped.
We don't run a free Lighthouse and call it an audit. Each dimension below is checked manually by someone who's seen 500+ stores break the same way.
Performance & Core Web Vitals
How fast your store loads + how stable it feels
- →Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) — should be under 2.5s
- →Interaction to Next Paint (INP) — should be under 200ms
- →Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) — should be under 0.1
- →Time to First Byte (TTFB) — server response speed
- →JS bundle size + render-blocking resources
- →Image optimization + format (WebP/AVIF)
- →CDN configuration + caching headers
Every 1-second delay = ~7% conversion drop. Google also uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking factor — slow stores rank lower AND convert worse.
Technical SEO
Whether Google can crawl and index your store properly
- →robots.txt + XML sitemap correctness
- →Indexation coverage in Google Search Console
- →Schema.org markup (Product, Offer, BreadcrumbList, FAQ)
- →Canonical URL implementation
- →hreflang for multi-language / multi-country stores
- →Mobile-first indexing readiness
- →Crawl errors + redirect chains
- →URL structure + parameter handling
Most Shopify/WooCommerce stores have 30–60% of pages excluded from Google because of misconfigured tech SEO. We find what's hidden.
On-Page SEO
Whether your pages actually rank for the right keywords
- →Title tags + meta descriptions (length, intent match)
- →H1 / H2 / H3 hierarchy
- →Internal linking structure + anchor text
- →Image alt text coverage
- →Content quality + thin-content detection
- →Keyword targeting vs. competitor analysis
- →Featured snippet opportunities
Most stores have 20-40 product pages competing with the homepage for the same keyword. Fixing this alone often doubles organic traffic.
Security & Compliance
Vulnerabilities that could cost you customers or your store
- →SSL/TLS configuration + cipher strength
- →Vulnerable plugin / app / extension scan
- →Outdated platform / theme / framework versions
- →Security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options)
- →Admin login security (2FA, IP restrictions)
- →PCI-DSS compliance for payment handling
- →GDPR / CCPA cookie + consent compliance
- →Backup integrity + offsite copies
The average ecommerce data breach costs $4.45M and 60% of small stores never recover. Insurance won't pay if you knew about a vulnerability.
Conversion & Checkout (CRO)
Friction points stealing your sales right now
- →Checkout funnel analysis + drop-off points
- →Product page elements (photos, copy, CTA, social proof)
- →Cart UX + abandonment recovery
- →Trust signals (reviews, badges, policies)
- →Form field count + autofill support
- →Guest checkout availability
- →Shipping cost transparency at first interaction
- →Returns / refund policy clarity
Most ecommerce stores convert at 1.5–2.5%. We typically find 5–8 specific conversion blockers — fixing 2–3 alone can lift conversion 20-40%.
Mobile Experience
Where 60-80% of your traffic actually shops
- →Touch target size (≥44×44 px)
- →Viewport configuration
- →Responsive layout integrity at all breakpoints
- →Mobile-specific UX patterns (sticky CTA, drawer nav)
- →Mobile checkout friction
- →Mobile page-load speed vs desktop
Mobile is 60-80% of traffic but typically 30-50% lower conversion. Either your mobile UX is broken — or it just hasn't been optimized.
Accessibility (WCAG 2.1)
Compliance + reaching disabled customers (15% of buyers)
- →Color contrast ratios (4.5:1 minimum)
- →Alt text coverage on all product images
- →Keyboard navigation (no mouse traps)
- →Form labels + error messaging
- →ARIA attributes on interactive elements
- →Screen reader compatibility
15% of online shoppers have a disability. Beyond ethical reasons, ADA lawsuits hit US ecommerce stores constantly — settlements average $35K-$50K.
Analytics & Tracking
Whether your data is actually trustworthy
- →GA4 setup + event coverage (purchase, add_to_cart, view_item)
- →Meta Pixel / Conversion API installation
- →Google Tag Manager configuration
- →Server-side tagging readiness
- →Attribution model alignment with reality
- →Goal conversion tracking accuracy
- →Privacy / cookie consent integration
If your analytics is broken, every marketing decision after is broken. We find tracking gaps that misattribute 20-40% of revenue.
Email & Marketing Automation
The 30%+ revenue channel most stores under-use
- →Welcome flow (subscriber + first-purchase)
- →Abandoned cart recovery (3-email minimum)
- →Post-purchase + review request flows
- →Win-back / re-engagement campaigns
- →List segmentation health
- →Deliverability (DMARC, SPF, DKIM, sender reputation)
- →Mobile email rendering
Email = 30-40% of mature ecommerce revenue. If you're under 15%, you're leaving money on the table — usually 5-figures monthly.
Payments & Checkout
Gateway fit + missed methods costing you orders
- →Gateway fit for your country + AOV
- →Effective rate (transaction + processor + currency)
- →Local payment methods coverage (UPI, iDEAL, Pix, etc.)
- →Failed-payment recovery flows
- →Apple Pay / Google Pay / wallet support
- →BNPL availability (Klarna, Afterpay, Tabby)
- →Currency presentation + checkout flow
Wrong gateway = 1-2% effective margin lost permanently. Missing local methods = 15-40% of buyers abandon checkout silently.
Tech Stack Health
App / plugin bloat that's slowing you down
- →App / plugin inventory + cost
- →Version currency + abandoned tools
- →Plugin / app conflicts (performance + functionality)
- →Theme + framework health
- →Hosting tier appropriateness
- →Custom code review + maintainability
Most stores have 12-25 apps installed; 30-50% are abandoned or duplicating functionality. Trimming = faster site + lower monthly cost.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
What happens when the worst happens
- →Automated backup schedule + retention
- →Offsite backup copies (separate provider)
- →Restore process tested + documented
- →Database vs full-site backup coverage
- →Recovery time objective (RTO) realistic
- →Domain + DNS backup + transfer plan
30% of stores hit a major outage in their first 3 years. Without tested backups, average recovery is 5-7 days of zero revenue.

Why this audit
Honest findings, not upsell theatre.
Most agency audits are sales documents disguised as findings — every issue conveniently maps to their service menu. We don't sell development on the side, so the report tells you what's actually wrong.
When implementation help would help, we say so. When you don't need us, we say that too. The audit pays for itself in the fixes you don't make.

FAQ
People ask us these.
What platforms do you audit?+
All 16 we cover on aapta.store — Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Magento, Squarespace, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Ecwid, SureCart, FluentCart, SpreadSimple, Brizy Shop, Weebly, LaunchMyStore, and Dukaan. If you're on something else, email first — we'll tell you honestly if we can do justice to it.
What access do you need?+
For Quick Scan: just your store URL — we work from public-facing data. For Pro and Strategic Audits: read-only access to GA4 + Google Search Console + platform admin (or specific sub-accounts). We send a secure intake form after payment that explains exactly what to share and how.
Will you also fix the issues you find?+
Audit and implementation are separate. After the audit, we'll quote any work you want done. The Strategic Audit includes vendor/dev recommendations if you'd rather hire elsewhere — we don't pad fixes.
How is this different from running PageSpeed or a free SEO scanner?+
Tools tell you what's wrong. We tell you which 3-5 fixes will move revenue, in what order, with effort estimates. 20 years of running stores means we know which alerts matter and which ones are noise.
Do you sign an NDA?+
Standard practice. We use a mutual NDA before access for Pro and Strategic Audits — sent automatically after payment. For Quick Scan there's no admin access, so no NDA needed.
What if I'm not happy with the audit?+
Full refund within 24 hours of payment if we haven't started. After delivery, if there's a specific finding you think is wrong, send the evidence — we'll re-do that section free.
Can I pay in INR?+
Yes. All prices are listed in USD, but Razorpay accepts INR, UPI, Indian cards, netbanking, and wallets. You'll see the live INR conversion at the checkout step before paying — based on the day's FX rate, not a stale number.
Want to discuss before paying?
Book a 30-minute call ($29) — we'll talk through your store, decide if an audit is the right move, and credit the call fee toward your audit if you proceed.
